About the Blog
This site originally started as my paper-tattered notebook that I used frequently for jotting down foreign words and phrases and other useful knowledge involving foreign languages. I decided to share my notes online and help others learn language(s) and expand their knowledge.
About Me
My name is Tia and I consider myself a nomad at heart. I haven’t relocated since 2001, but throughout my childhood since I was born, I moved at least 7 times, whether in the same state or different regions. So, it seems naturally for me to live at a certain place for a season before moving again. I love to travel, and fishing is my favorite pastime.
I wanted to be multilingual since I was a child, with Spanish being the first. As anyone knows, Spanish is commonly spoken in the Southwest as well as in New York (my hometown). As I got older, I added Mandarin and Japanese, and the rest is history.
